Sarah + Kevin | Adventurous National Park Engagement Session | Acadia, Maine

When Sarah & Kevin asked if I would be down to travel to Maine to photograph their engagement session I most definitely squealed on the other end of the phone. Not only has Acadia National Park been a bucket list location for me, but I just loved why they chose it.

They wanted engagement photos that felt true to them and photos that documented this exact time in their lives. This is the first (of many) National Parks they get to explore together and the beginning of their adventure of living and traveling the US in their RV together (you should def follow along with their adventures — @kevandsar because they are the coolest & I love them)!

The best part of it all was that we got to hangout together for a couple of days before their session! We grabbed yummy food and drinks at a local restaurant & chatted for hours at our airbnb. It was so fun to really get to know them before they had to hop in front of my camera. It made it that much easier to photograph them as authentically as possible because let’s be honest, it’s always easier to be yourself around a friend rather than a stranger you’ve just seen online lol.
