INTENTIONAL

WEDDINGS

Being in the arms of the person you love most surrounded by all your favorite people.

WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN

Really, truly … is there anything better? Your wedding is a day to simply FEEL.

… the squeeze of your best friend’s hand and the cool clasp of your grandmother’s necklace.

… the laughter deep in your bones and the happy tears that you don’t try to hide.

… that absolutely expansive moment of whoa when you look out at all the people who surround you and can’t believe it’s real.

I am so dang honored to celebrate this day with you!

I work with couples planning meaningful weddings up to 150 guests, gorgeous micro-weddings, and intentional elopements.

Not to be awkward but…

It will feel a little awkward getting your photos taken at first! That is totally normal because you’re totally normal. You can trust that I’ll guide you through it and make this whole experience fun.

But can I tell you a secret? You two already know how to show each other love, make each other laugh. Leaning into playful, goofy photos of you two just being yourselves is honestly one of my favorite parts of documenting love.

These are images of you actually living. I can’t think of anything better than that.

Backyard dance parties and mountaintop sunset dinners. Big-hearted elopements and intimate moments. My couples have created so many beautiful ways to celebrate their love. Take a look at some other weddings I’ve photographed from Baltimore to D.C. and everywhere in between.

WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN

NOW WHAT?

I’LL TAKE IT FROM HERE

  • My goal is to answer any questions you have before you even need to ask. I’m big on open communication and truly listening to your vision for your wedding day. You can count on me for guidance, tips and just being there to cheer you on every step of the way. Because look — you’re inviting me in to witness and document the biggest day of your lives! You deserve to have someone there who truly gets you.

    Here’s my simple process →

Taking care of my couples is a huge part of what I do. I’ve never been a “show up and photograph” sort of person. I want to get to know you & learn what you want celebrated and captured on your wedding day, and what you don’t. You can trust that I’ll keep my focus on you two and the emotional truth of your day.

  • We’ll mix candid, documentary style with natural portraits to create a genuine, emotional record of your day. You can count on me for guidance when you need it, but to always step back and give you space to breathe and simply enjoy this moment together. Also, you better believe I’ll join you on the dance floor for the sort of images that’ll put a huge smile on your face whenever you see them.

  • After your wedding day, I’ll get to work hand-editing all your images with an eye toward genuine emotion and authentic moments. Flatlays are great, but you can expect images that document your grandparents holding hands, your partner’s head tipped back in a laugh. You know, the real stuff. This true-to-life style means you’ll recognize the emotion no matter how much time has passed.

FIND ME

On my days off, you can find me dreaming of my next trip. So whenever I get the opportunity to combine travel and documenting weddings? I mean, how much more perfect could it get?

I’ve been lucky enough to work with couples exchanging vows and celebrating love in Italy, Maine and Georgia. Is a destination wedding the way you’re hoping to go?

Let’s talk and make it happen!

“Choosing Anna as our photographer was the best decision we made!!! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s such a kind and caring person. It honestly just felt like our friend was taking our picture. On our wedding day she did an amazing job capturing every single emotion we felt.

MADDY & TYLER

Wanna see my grandpa’s old camera?

I mean it. When couples are interested in film photography, I get to bring my grandpa’s Yashica 635 dual lens film camera out to play.

I mostly shoot digital, but I always grab hold of any chance to incorporate film into your wedding day photography. There’s a texture to film, an undeniable sense of nostalgia and timelessness. I love the way it makes me slow down and be so, so intentional with my shot. I think you’ll love it too.

Ask me about film when we chat.
