Mara & Brendan | Colorful Post Elopement Extravaganza | Granville, Ohio

Mara and Brendan met each other in a high school physics class. Their first date was to the roller rink in their hometown where 50-year-old man skated circles around them πŸ€πŸ›Ό They have grown so much together since then and in 2023 got married, just the two of them (and me hehe), surrounded by nature at the National Arboretum in DC 🀍

One year after their elopement, Mara & Brendan threw one big extravaganza back in their hometown surrounded by all their favorite people & things πŸͺ©πŸ›ΌπŸΎπŸŽΆπŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ•ΊπŸΌπŸ©·

This was truly such a cool way to be able to enjoy all aspects of a wedding with a lot less stress and more intentionality. Their elopement was a day that was truly focused on them & their relationship β€” getting ready together, hanging out that morning, private vows, photos of just the two of them, no timeline. Their party was a day that was focused on the people they love most β€” toasts, celebration, connection, love, & nostalgia. It was such an amazing way to help them stay present and allowed for such natural & real moments that I got to just step back and witness πŸ₯°

There are so many moments from this day that I loved but here are just a few! 😍
